Privacy Policy

How CustomCraft Pro collects and uses data on your Shopify store.

CustomCraft Pro (“the App”) is a Shopify application published by Digiware Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store (“Store”). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here and in our Shopify App Store listing.

When you install the App, we may access certain information from your Shopify account and Store as permitted by the permissions you approve at install time. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

  • Custom measurements, text inputs, and configuration choices from buyers
  • Artwork and design files uploaded through product pages
  • Order and line item data linking customization inputs to fulfillment
  • Customer name and contact details present on associated orders

the App operates within Shopify’s platform security model. The permissions requested at install time define which Store resources the App can read or write. Current permission categories associated with the App include:

  • Read and write product customization options and line item properties
  • Read orders and customer-submitted customization data
  • Read and store uploaded files attached to customer orders or products

We may collect information about you as the merchant (account owner or staff), such as your name, email address, phone number, and Store configuration details, to operate your account, provide support, and send service-related communications.

the App may process information your customers submit through product customization or upload flows (for example, measurements, artwork, or configuration choices). You are responsible for informing customers how their data is collected and used on your Store.

We collect information through:

  • Your Shopify account and the permissions you grant when installing or updating the App;
  • Information you provide in the App’s admin interface or support requests;
  • Automated technologies such as cookies, log files, and similar tools used to operate, secure, and improve the App;
  • Shopify webhooks and API responses required to deliver App functionality.

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App and related support;
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • Process Store data according to the features you enable;
  • Communicate about updates, security notices, and account matters;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms;

CustomCraft Pro stores customization inputs and files so your team can fulfill made-to-order products. You must provide appropriate privacy notices on your Store explaining what customers submit, how long data is retained, and how requests for access or deletion should be handled.

Uploaded files may contain personal or sensitive information. Restrict staff access in Shopify Admin and delete files when no longer needed for fulfillment or legal record-keeping.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, or operate the App (under contracts requiring appropriate safeguards);
  • Shopify, as required for App operation within the Shopify platform;
  • Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the App, fulfill the purposes in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you uninstall the App, we delete or anonymize Store data according to our retention schedule and Shopify’s partner requirements, unless a longer period is required by law.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage merchants to use strong passwords and limit staff access in Shopify Admin.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information, and to data portability where applicable.

European Economic Area and UK residents may contact us to exercise rights under applicable data protection laws. We process information as necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the App), comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate business interests such as security and product improvement.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information as defined by those laws.

Digiware Solutions operates from the United States and Pakistan. Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

the App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact info@digiwaresolutions.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, the App, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or Shopify App Store listing where appropriate.
